T.J. Miller who we saw playing the role of Marmaduke Brooker in the comedy series “Carpoolers”, recently got arrested in downtown Bloomington after it was suspected that he was driving his car while being intoxicated. Now the star faces a preliminary charge of operating a vehicle under the influence of intoxicants.

When Monroe County Sheriff’s Deputy, Chad Liersch saw a Ford Focus getting out of control and weaving from lane to lane about 3 a.m. in the morning he stopped the car and identified the driver as comedian T.J. Miller. Miller failed field sobriety tests. When police asked him to open his mouth, actor refused to take a breath test. After that the actor was taken to the hospital where a blood draw was conducted. The “Carpoolers” comedian had just given a performance in Ohio.

Its quiet alarming and shameful that a prominent actor like T.J. Miller who gave us a reason to smile in “Carpoolers” should indulge in such irresponsible behavior. He should be more careful in future as getting out of trouble after getting arrested for drunken driving is far easier than recuperating from a disaster like a severe accident. I still long for reliving the funny moments of “Carpoolers” and comedian T.J. Miller was a part of many of them. So I really feel sad when such a talented comedy star acts in such a reckless manner putting his and other’s life in jeopardy. I hope he will learn from his mistake and be more careful in future.

“Carpoolers” is hard to erase from memories and its cancellation even harder to accept. One season is definitely not a worthy test of the future prospects of a TV show. This comedy show definitely deserved more than a season. Aubrey you really rocked the show. Yeah, you are right. I am talking about Aubrey Williber from Carpoolers. He was one of the main characters in Carpoolers, who was also the most lovable for me.  Aubrey introduced me to the funny side of my life as he and his family resembled me and my own family in many ways.

The character of Auberly, enacted by Jerry Minor, is married to a lazy woman and his kids are similar to a noisy bunch of monkeys. This plot build around Auberly, produces funny situations which make fans burst out with laughter. Fans can’t do anything, but just hold their aching tummies.

In fact Aubrey’s family is a mirror image of my own family. Yes my dear folks, I too have a lazy wife and four kids. My kids are like landmines - ready to explode at any small happening. But now, after watching the Carpoolers, I look at my kids and wife with a different perspective.

Since long, I have considered them to be a bunch of dumb buffaloes that have been let loose. However, the show has made me aware of the funny and lively aspects of their personalities. Now I too rejoice in their immature antics, but being a responsible father I still don’t let the condition get out of control. No longer do I ask my wife to give up her laziness. Now I always tell her she is perfect in everyway and that I love her a lot.

Thanks to Carpoolers and especially my most favorite character on the show Auberly, I have managed to bond with my family once again. Auberly you are like my twin brother. Though the show lasted only a single season, I will always remember it as it made my life funnier and livelier like never before.
